Why are we doing this?
Around the world, more than 82 million people have been displaced by war, conflict, violence, and human rights abuses -- more than twice as many as a decade ago.
These refugees — many of them families with small children — are seeking all the things that we as Canadians take for granted — peace, security, a future for their children, the opportunity to prosper in a community that welcomes them. We have those things to share in the Bow Valley.
